We have updated the sponsor list today. Thanks very much to everyone who supported us! We also added a few SSTV images we received. Have fun!

We have the QSO statistics available now. We ended up with 52385 QSOs.

The DXpedition is coming to an end today. There are some 51000 QSOs in the log! We (and hopefully you too) are very happy about the results. Yesterday the emergency generator quit working but after 3 hours power was back.

Yesterday there were some ten power failures for each 5 minutes. We tried SSTV mode yesterday and it worked very fine. So we had the pleasure of a "cinema afternoon" ;-) Due to expected interference, the other stations stopped traffic meanwhile. All equipment is running without problems. We will be on another sightseeing tour today. We will be QRV again at 18z. Next weekend we are going to participate in the WAE RTTY contest so please look for us. The updates of the logs are arriving well. Thanks a lot to Joost, ZS5S for assitance! We have added another set of pictures to the pictures page.

We have been on an all-day long boat tour yesterday that included a lot of tropical rain. When arriving back at the hotel, we had a thunderstorm and further power failures.

The team is doing very well and so do the QSO rates! On Nov 4, 2359z there were already 25000 QSOs in the log. We have the first pictures available, please see the pictures page.

The team has arrived well and the DXpedition came on the air on Oct 31, 1610 UTC. Luckily there were no problems with the luggage and the antennas. There was a warm welcome at Conakry airport. After another two hours we arrived at the hotel with all luggage. Unfortunately it was too dark already but the antennas (V80E, R7, A3WS, Mosley, 6m Yagi) and the 4 stations (2 IC735, 2 IC706, 3 PA) were erected the next day, Oct 31st.

Till Nov 1st, 10z, there were already 5000 QSOs in the log. Unfortunately there are sudden power failures. The hotel has an emergency generator but however the off-times can be between few minutes and one hour. So please don't be worried if we are suddenly QRT (=QRX). At least the power lines deliver sollid 230V.
